Chinese Scooters

While researching scooters to buy, we kept hearing the same thing over and over: don't buy Chinese made scooters. Prices were bringing us back to them but paranoia wouldn't allow us to buy. We came across a pair of brand new SUNL 150cc scooters that seemed great but alas...Chinese. Then the web site http://www.scootdawg.com/ gave us some wonderful information about dealing with the lack of quality control that tarnishes the image of Chinese scooters. If you replace the sub-standard fuel lines and vacuum lines, petcock, gas filter, spark plug, etc. and tighten all screws, nuts and bolts before putting too many miles/hours on the scooter you'll have few problems. I followed this advice, bought the 2 SUNLs and we are really enjoying them. The 85 miles per gallon they get makes them more useful than ever. Inexpensive transportation and a lot of fun to ride. Thanks Scoot Dog!
